- Testosterone Replacement- XYY males have lower levels of testosterone than average. Testosterone Replacement therapy is given as a shot and it is used to increase hormone levels so that XYY males can undergo puberty normally and grow muscle tissue like non-XYY males.
- Educational Therapy- Most XYY males fall within the average IQ range for men, but that doesn't mean they can't have learning disabilities such as ADHD. Often times XYY males require special instruction outside of class to help cope with an increased prevalence of learning disorders.
- Fertility Therapy- Since men with XYY disorder have lowered testosterone levels they also have decreased sperm count compared to their XY counterparts. Because of this it is hard for them to have children without the help of medical professionals who will either offer a method of direct injection of sperm into the woman's egg or will try to offer medication that heightens sperm count.
